This collection gathers short, lyrical fantasies set in invented kingdoms and strange cities, each tale presenting a vignette of wonder or melancholy. Many pieces trace journeys—physical and spiritual—toward seas, mountains, ruined towns, or distant rivers; others dwell on enchantments, ghosts, and the consequences of longing. Recurring motifs include yearning, mythic cosmology, and the tension between ordinary life and romantic escape, all rendered in ornate, dreamlike prose that blends fable, parable, and wistful adventure.
I hope for this book that it may come into the hands of those that were kind to my others and that it may not disappoint them.
