Eagles of the Sky; Or, With Jack Ralston Along the Air Lanes

The story follows two government aviators, Jack Ralston and Gabe Perkiser, sent to patrol the Florida Gulf Coast and dismantle a network of smugglers. They use an amphibious plane for reconnaissance and daring aerial assaults, including tear-bomb attacks, and coordinate with Coast Guard units. Their investigation leads from shipboard skirmishes and high-speed chases to inland mysteries: a swamp, a puzzling lake, a coquina shack, and a man of many faces. Encounters with ambushes, traps, and a venomous rattler test their resourcefulness and courage, culminating in a final confrontation that unravels the criminal ring and secures the contraband.
