Le chasseur du désert qui poursuit la gazelle

Sait qu’il lui faut du temps pour l’atteindre et l’avoir ;

Or, si la chance est rare aussi, la proie est belle,

Et l’obstiné chasseur ne perd jamais l’espoir.

Tel, si tu veux toucher le bonheur qui te tente,

Ne crois pas que ta main peut l’abattre d’abord ;

Mais sois toujours en garde et toujours en attente.

La victoire souvent se réserve à l’effort.
