About This Book
A physician narrator takes up engagement as surgeon aboard a private yacht and finds himself among a mixed company of officers, guests, and an elusive proprietor as the vessel sails away. Underlying tensions and secret schemes among passengers and crew escalate into violent conspiracies and pitched conflicts aboard, producing wounds, deaths, and a night of desperate flight.
