Illogical Geology, the Weakest Point in the Evolution Theory
About This Book
The author critically examines geological reasoning for a successive ordering of life forms, arguing that stratigraphic and fossil evidence do not establish reliable age relationships between different fossils. He surveys historical assumptions and methodological weaknesses in geology, emphasizes abrupt, widespread and anomalous fossil deposits, and reads these patterns as the result of a single catastrophic event that reshaped climates and ecosystems. From this reconstruction he rejects gradual, genealogical explanations as inadequately supported by the geological record and advances direct creation and a revised inductive approach as better accounts for the observed fossil assemblages, degeneration trends, and the presence of familiar species at the crisis horizon.
