Et Judas, trahissant celui qui se dévoue :

« Je vous désignerai l’homme en baisant sa joue. »

Les soldats le suivaient ; il ne faisait plus jour,

Et Jésus dit : « Voici le pouvoir des Ténèbres ! »

Et Judas, dont le nom pèse aux traîtres célèbres,

Par le signe d’amour perdit l’homme d’amour.
