Lords of the Stratosphere

The story follows two partner-scientists who attempt record-breaking stratospheric flights to investigate mysterious forces that are lifting buildings and destroying parts of the city. Rising into extreme altitudes, they trace ghostly columns of light and encounter unnatural levitation, invisible spheres, and baffling atmospheric currents that threaten aircraft and human life. Their expedition alternates technical problem-solving, daring maneuvers, and frantic schemes to understand and counter a consuming force described as a cataclysmic hunger. As events escalate into near catastrophe, plans for rescue and confrontation unfold amid rapidly changing celestial conditions and high-altitude chaos.
