Mask of Death

The narrative follows efforts to stop a sinister mastermind known as Doctor Satan who employs a geometric device that alters subjective rates of time, producing paralysis, slowed-motion victims, and temporary displacement of consciousness. Set at a newly developed summer resort, the villain and his exotic female accomplice use hypnosis, body substitution, and the time-diverter to terrorize guests and attempt extortion. Investigators and a determined hero unravel the mechanism through a sequence of uncanny incidents—from a frozen dancer and a staged robbery to the rescue of an entranced woman—culminating in a tense confrontation to expose the criminal methods and end the menace.
