Archaic and variable spelling has been preserved.

Variations in hyphenation and compound words have been preserved.

The author was consistent in his spelling of “aint” throughout.

On page 75 “conderable” was replaced by “considerable”.

On page 139 an “at” was added to the sentence between “dine” and the hour.
