A group of Brownie Scouts spend a seaside holiday where they explore tide pools, collect shells, and learn to swim under the guidance of their troop leader and a lifeguard. Their days alternate between lighthearted activities—turtle races, shell hunts, and beach games—and small seaside mysteries, including fogbound nights, a shiplike house with a locked door, a face at a window, and an episode adrift at sea. Adventures test their courage and cooperation and culminate in personal growth and a return home.
