About This Book

A close exposition of the Epistle to the Galatians that presents the gospel as a revelation of Christ received by Paul and teaches justification by faith rather than by adherence to the law. It follows themes of deliverance from the curse to the blessing given to Abraham, the believer’s adoption as a child of God, the Spirit’s victory over the flesh, and the redemptive significance of the cross. Urging diligent Scripture study and personal transformation, the work emphasizes the freedom and authority of grace as the foundation for Christian life, witness, and reform within the church.

The above is a little quarterly publication designed especially for use in personal correspondence. Each number contains from two to sixteen pages of a size convenient to go into a No. 6 envelope without folding. It is printed on thin paper, and one or two numbers can be put in with an ordinary letter without increasing the postage. A package should be kept on hand, and, when writing to a friend, inclose one or more copies, and thus “sow beside all waters.”
