Transcriber’s Note:

Words may have multiple spelling variations or inconsistent hyphenation. Obsolete and alternative spellings were not unchanged. Eight misspelled words were corrected. Final stops missing at the end of sentences and abbreviations were added. Diacritics were adjusted, as appropriate.
