About This Book
A playful lyrical legend follows a mischievous imp dispatched to a city whose antics disturb a cathedral: he mocks clergy, mishandles sacred objects, tears tapestries and breaks candlesticks, and is ultimately confronted by a small angel who pronounces his fate and turns him to stone. A gust of wind character declines to assist, and a closing moral warns against irreverence, folly, and meddling with holy things while recommending a visit to view the petrified figure.
