The Pony Rider Boys with the Texas Rangers; Or, On the Trail of the Border Bandits

A group of young horsemen pursue a band of border outlaws, moving from long dusty rides to sudden ambushes, captures, and rescues across rugged country. Episodes follow horseback pursuit, a close-range struggle with a captured ruffian, initiation into ranger work, and mountain and cave expeditions, with the youths learning tracking, shooting, and ropecraft. Action and resourcefulness drive the plot as the riders cooperate with frontier lawmen, test their courage in perilous positions, and ultimately surround and confront the enemy, their growing camaraderie and quick thinking resolving the chase.
