The Seven Jewels of Chamar

The narrative follows Nathan Ormondy after his father is mortally wounded and bequeaths two of seven legendary jewels whose combined possession promises immense power. Nathan pursues the murderer across a rain-swept Venusian frontier, drawn into conflict with the notorious Firebird and other seekers while confronting how the jewels inflame ambition and violence. Encounters with allies and rivals reveal the jewels' compulsive hold and the costs of claiming supremacy, blending action-driven pursuit with themes of obsession, the corrupting lure of absolute power, and the human toll exacted by treasure that elevates desire above conscience.
