About This Book
The story follows a farm boy who adopts a tiny white lamb, cares for it, and grows fond of the lively animal as it learns the ways of the yard. Episodes show outings to town, the lamb's attempts to join and lead the flock, friendships and teasing among the other farm animals, and a string of playful mishaps, school and swimming adventures, and small mysteries. Through these incidents the narrative unfolds themes of companionship, youthful mischief, learning limits, and the everyday social life of animals and children on the farm.
