The X Bar X boys at the round-up

Two resourceful brothers work the family ranch, repairing fences, riding the range, and preparing for the annual round-up. When two inquisitive buyers arrive and odd incidents accumulate, the boys grow suspicious and uncover a plot involving a wild horse, rustlers, and a mysterious fire. Through rescue, roping, investigation, and quick horsemanship they confront danger, free captives, and drive the herd into the corral. The narrative moves from everyday ranch chores to tense action at the round-up and finishes with a climactic rodeo and resolution.
