Színházi siker dolgában érdekes élményem: mikor a háború után Bohnen Mihály fellépett a bécsi Operában, akkora sikert aratott, hogy másnapi fellépéséhez az azsiotőrök már reggel összevásárolván a jegyeket, este tízszeres, sőt húszszoros áron adták tovább a közönségnek. A harmadik estére már csak egy-egy jegyet tudtak szerezni ezek a jegydrágítók, s dacára annak, hogy a jegyek kurzusa még magasabbra emelkedett, a jegyet nem adták el, hanem maguk mentek be vele az Operába Bohnent meghallgatni.
