The spellings "expirare"/"exspirare", "expiratio"/"exspiratio" (with various inflections) occur, and have been left unchanged.
All examples of "aer" (and other cases) have been amended to "aër", &c.
p. 8 §7: in the sentence beginning "Licet etiam calculo invenire quantitatem aëris...", "quantitarem" has been amended to "quantitatem".
Some missing full-stops have been silently reinserted.
