Cosmic Yo-Yo

Two members of a struggling interplanetary hauling company locate an improbably precise wedge-shaped asteroid that seems to match a wealthy client's eccentric specifications and tight deadline. As they move to verify and claim the find, they encounter a lone woman already living on the rock who asserts ownership and threatens legal consequences. The story follows their scramble to secure the asteroid amid rival firms and contractual pressure, examining opportunism, luck, commercial rivalry, and the tension between personal claims and market demands in a spacefaring setting.
