It's All Yours

A chancellor presides over a strangely deformed, dying Earth where most species, including humans, face sterility and grotesque mutations. He navigates the political and moral burden of governing the last generation, hosting a delegation of religious leaders who demand answers about sterilization programs and the possibility of Mars as refuge. Scientific attempts—incubators, irradiation, parthenogenesis—are displayed but fail to promise renewal, and contact with Mars has ceased after unsuccessful missions. The narrative traces environmental collapse from atomic waste, the reshaping of habitable space, and the ethical, existential dilemmas confronting leaders and populations in a terminally altered world.
