This work presents a critical examination of the political landscape in Mexico during the presidency of Porfirio Díaz. The author argues that Díaz's regime, often portrayed as progressive and beneficial, is in fact characterized by tyranny and oppression. Through personal observations and historical analysis, the text challenges the glorified narratives surrounding Díaz, asserting that his administration has suppressed freedoms and perpetuated corruption.
