The Outdoor Girls in the Saddle; Or, The Girl Miner of Gold Run

A group of adventurous young women spend a summer riding through a mining region and enjoying ranch life, forming friendships and encountering local characters whose motives are unclear. A sudden storm and a landslide put them in serious danger, forcing them into a cave and into tense, dark hours that test their resourcefulness. As they probe nearby claims they find signs of gold and uncover clues that point to deception surrounding a new mine, while a mysterious violinist figure reappears to complicate matters. Allies arrive to assist, the scheme is exposed, and the girls rely on courage and cooperation to bring the situation to a safe resolution.
