About This Book
A small confectionery rabbit awakens on a shop counter and, drawn to glittering eggs with tiny windows, discovers miniature scenes and other animated toys. He leaves the counter to explore a world of playful vignettes, befriending a wind-up rabbit and a chocolate companion, and faces perils and mishaps including a threatening cat, an inadvertent ascent into the air, and a bath and wheelbarrow ride. Encounters with an organ grinder and a peddler lead to a lively party, and the rabbit's adventures conclude when he is tucked into a boy's pocket.
