Princess Zara

The narrative follows a high-born woman whose arrival in a foreign port triggers a tangled tale of political danger, espionage, and cross-cultural romance. A man named Dan Derrington undertakes a secret mission in the imperial capital and is swept into confrontations with secret police, nihilist conspirators, and the sovereign’s authority. Trials, death sentences, duels, and plots of vengeance test loyalties and reveal competing duties. Clandestine meetings, shifting allegiances, and a brotherhood of conspirators drive the action toward a violent climax in which love, honor, and sacrifice determine the outcome.
