About This Book
A cloistered monk consumed by envy and disgust toward a sanctimonious fellow brother discovers a neglected manuscript that describes necromantic rites and a ritual for transforming a man into a wolf. Frustrated by petty schemes that failed to unmask or punish his rival, he fixates on the arcane manual as a means of revenge. The narrative mixes dark comedy and gothic horror while examining hypocrisy, suppressed desire, obsessive resentment, and the moral cost of pursuing supernatural shortcuts to settle personal grievances.
