Loot of the Void

The story follows Dick Penrun, who learns from an elderly former crewman that he is heir to a notorious space pirate and that a hidden treasure remains; the informant is murdered aboard a liner and Penrun salvages a torn map fragment pointing to the caves of Titan. Pursuit and deception unfold as Penrun tracks the treasure across spacecraft and hostile worlds, confronting engineered traps, rival claimants, and cavernous lairs inhabited by gigantic spiders. Action mixes mystery and planetbound exploration, with recurring themes of legacy, greed, and survival amid alien hazards.
