Circle of Flight

The narrative follows two married, former resistance leaders who have chosen opposite responses to a repressive Authority: one prepares to harness vast macrocosmic power to overthrow control by force, while the other intends to enter atomic inner space seeking understanding and healing. As police surveillance closes in, both are captured and interrogated so their methods and technologies can be appropriated. Their personal history and ideological rift are examined under coercion, and the situation raises ethical questions about violence versus empathy, the aims of scientific exploration, and how advanced knowledge can be used for domination or repair.
