The Sky Trail

A young flying reporter and his companion pilot undertake daring airborne assignments for their newspaper, flying the trim biplane Good News to photograph disasters and chase leads. When storage tanks at a nearby oil company erupt in flames and explosions, they race from the newsroom to the airfield to make a hazardous aerial photo run during the plane's test flight with a new engine. The narrative moves between newsroom urgency and high-altitude action, recalling prior globe-spanning exploits while emphasizing technical flying challenges, quick decision-making under pressure, and the comradeship of two aviators confronting danger in the sky.
