Doomsday Eve

Amid a prolonged, world-threatening war, a mysterious group of enhanced individuals begins appearing on battlefields and in rescue scenes, displaying abilities that defy explanation. An American intelligence officer, Kurt Zen, is assigned to locate and understand them and is ultimately captured in their concealed stronghold. With opposing powers readying a super missile that could obliterate life, he races to uncover the source of the new people's power in hopes of averting catastrophe. The investigation intertwines loyalty, personal risk, and moral ambiguity as Zen encounters members of the group and confronts whether their interventions represent salvation, danger, or something more complex.
