The Boy Fortune Hunters in China

A group of young adventurers travel to China after a sea disaster and become embroiled with an injured prince whose dying wish and hidden ancestral treasure set their quest in motion. They confront scheming retainers and palace officials, navigate secret passages, encounter sacred animals, and face ambushes and traps while pursuing a storied hoard. The plot strings together shipboard calamity, desertion, espionage, and corridor battles with episodes of daring rescue and exploration. Along the way the action illuminates local customs and frames moral tensions about loyalty, ambition, and the costs of seeking wealth.
