Treasure of the Brasada

The story follows bronc-buster Glenn Crawford, who returns to the Big O ranch accused of violence and struggling with a panic and pain when near horses after a suspicious accident. Determined to find the ranch owner's killer and to master the savage horse Africano, he becomes enmeshed with the enigmatic Merida Lopez, a dying man's cryptic map fragment, and a proposition from the unsettling Dr. Huerta. Suspicion, betrayal, and violent confrontations push a hunt for hidden chests and a dangerous treasure into the wild border brush, as Crawford fights to reclaim his body, clear his name, and uncover the truth.
