About This Book
A marooned space pilot awakens beside his broken freighter and finds himself stranded on an asteroid with twenty-seven women who had been bound for colonial marriages. He is aided by a hunter named Ann Clotilde and soon encounters centaur-like fauna, scarce supplies, and rugged terrain while the survivors organize and scout for safety. The narrative blends light romantic awkwardness, encounters with primitive wildlife, and improvised survival as the group seeks a secure camp and a means to continue.
