Amour, Amour, Dear Planet!

A hard-drinking space captain returning to his ravaged homeworld crashes into a mountain where an ascetic, anti-pleasure sect holds an equinox ritual. He and a terrified companion are seized and brought before the sect's prophet, a movement that fuses disparate religious and political doctrines and denounces science and sensuality.
