The Undamned

A future history sketches how plutonium parity prompts development of defensive wall shields that end terrestrial warfare, spurring colonization of Mars and a succession of interplanetary wars as distant settlements diverge. The narrative follows the technological arms race and its unintended consequences, especially the rise of robotic high-velocity bombs that can penetrate defenses. A small team’s rapid intervention alters the Third Interplanetary War’s trajectory, and scenes center on Colonel Ralph Lindsay, his partner Jenna, and Captain Jim Roberts as they detect and pursue a super-velocity robomb headed for the Mojave spaceport.
