Spider Men of Gharr

A man named Kimball Trent carries hidden knowledge that could free the Barbs but needs a key linked to enigmatic blue creatures said to be unable to die. He awakens transformed—overgrown with hair and claw-like nails—and, gradually recovering memory and strength, hacks away excess growth, consumes canned rations, and forces his way from a buried chamber into a world where his familiar machines and a carved door have been softened by time and vegetation. A broken refrigerating system and spilled cryogenic liquid explain his near-death state and propel him toward unraveling the riddle that connects his secret, the monsters, and the Barbs' fate.
